Within the development of this site, Travel and Life in Thailand (TALIT), is the wish to create a diverse and useful grapevine for our visitors.

Below are some of the criteria that we will do our best to follow with regards to Links and Advertising on this site.

If you wish to get a link on our site to your own or would like to advertise services or products through our site, please check through the criteria, before contacting me.

Links

Obviously our present line of business calls for links in connection with any aspect of travel and life in Thailand.

But we also welcome inquiries from more diverse sites.

Especially encouraged are sites with reference to Buddhist culture, meditation, etc, (not necessarily in Thailand); or charitable organisations, (subject to vetting for authenticity).

Travel bloggers are also welcomed.

Criteria

The main criteria for Links is that you make it reciprocal.

Exceptions
We will not link to any sites that we deem inappropriate, or unethical,or to sites whose primary function has anything to do with credit.

Advertising
Not our primary concern but if you feel that our site might be a good outlet for advertising your service or business, then here is what we say;

Free advertising
We will be happy to give free advertising space to Charitable Organisations, (subject to vetting for authenticity).

If you are a Charitable Organisation within reasonable distance of Chiang Mai we would be happy to include a photo feature on your work if you wish. (feature produced in conjunction with project visit by TALIT representative.)

Discretion may be given to other organisations carrying out particular activities that benefit the poorer communities and support their culture.

Other Advertising
Businesses wishing to advertise on this website should have a genuine relevance to subject matter within the website.

Tour Companies; Leisure Services; Massage Resorts , etc. Any advertising would first be subject to either;

• at least 5 recommendations from Guests in our rooms

or

• a sample of your service by a TALIT representative to verify the quality and ethics of your service;

No financial services sites will be considered.
