Events
Chiang Mai has many attractions that are both Culturally and Tourist based.
Culturally (C) – means events that have taken place for centuries and are an important part of Thai culture, whether they be celebrating a New Year, the change of season or various Buddhist dates throughout the year. These events take place all over Thailand and not just in Chiang Mai. But… Chiang Mai is proud to have it’s own charming Lanna style.
Tourist (T) based events are those that have been established over recent times to facilitate a portrayal of civilisation, a demonstration of art or an attraction to highlight how wonderful some Thai events can be.
