Very much aware of the excitement and intrigue behind the planning a trip to a far away destination, I believe that by sharing my experiences with you, it may help some people to over come their concerns, titillate other peoples taste buds and assist folks to understand some of the opportunities of travel and adventure in Thailand.

I have traveled through out the country and made a point of doing so without affording myself luxuries. I enjoy taking a non air-conditioned bus or train, I enjoy staying in a place that is far removed from the tourist centres and attractions and if you care to read some of my write-ups about my journeys, you may appreciate that there is still a lot to be seen in Thailand, that you will not see on an organised tour.

Brick Road Cafe is situated in Chiang Mai, which is in the north west of Thailand. If you are interested visiting any of the places I have written about, or indeed hundreds of other places of interest in the north of Thailand, please do drop by the Cafe and say “Hello !”.

You might even decide to stay the night in our guest house.
